where it started

ToxiTress™ started with a fresh install that looked perfect and felt uncomfortable within days.

The beauty industry had spent decades perfecting the style. The braid. The wig. The sew-in. The finish. Nobody was talking about what was happening underneath — the buildup compressing under the roots, the scalp that never got to breathe, the itch that everyone just accepted as part of the deal.

Our founder looked for a pre-install scalp solution. There wasn't one. So we built it.

what we built first

EXTRACT™ Foundation Reset™ was the original product — a mineral scalp detox formulated with Bentonite Clay, Kaolin, Activated Charcoal, and Sodium Bicarbonate to physically lift buildup, oil, sweat, and residue before every install. Not mask it. Not cover it. Remove it.

That was the foundation. Everything else was built on top of it.

We call it Scalp Infrastructure Care™. The idea is simple: your scalp is the infrastructure your style runs on. If the infrastructure is compromised — buildup, pH imbalance, dryness, tension damage — everything built on top of it is compromised too.

Most haircare treats the symptom. We treat the foundation.

• Buildup is the enemy. Product residue, oil, and environmental debris block growth and cause irritation — especially under protective styles. Regular shampoo doesn't fully clear it.
